The Mystical Art of Music
Rupert Guenther’s music is mystical, timeless and healing. Renowned for his soulful tone and healing presence, his concerts are an imaginative journey of classical, ancient, and world-music influences, the sounds of temples, forests, and mountaintops, in an uplifting and positive meditative experience for audiences of all ages.
His diversity of style has seen him tour Australia, the UK, USA and Europe, releasing 27 albums as an original solo artist since 2003. Trained as a concert violinist in Vienna, Austria, his deep spirituality has fuelled his musical passions since a young age.
Former sideman to stars such as Beatles’ producer Sir George Martin, Olivia-Newton John, Demis Roussos, John Farnham, Anthony Warlow, and Hollywood singer-songwriter Lisbeth Scott, he has collaborated with some of Australia’s most respected players including Chris Copping (Procum Harum), Gary Young (Daddy Cool), Steve Housden (Little River Band), and Allan Zavod (Frank Zappa & Jean Luc Ponty).
