Andy Green commenced practicing meditation when he was twenty and a little later combining this with Yoga practice. He taught Yoga and meditation for 16 years. He started his Tai Chi adventure when he was 23 and has practiced Tai Chi, Bagua, and Qigong for over 44 years. He has trained with different Masters, studied in China at the Shaolin Monastery, and in the Taoist heartland in the Wudang Mountains in China. He is the director of the Wu Wei School and a member of the Wushu and Tai Chi Practitioners Association of Australia. At the Conscious Living Festival, he will demonstrate – with participation – the generation of a healing Chi field.
Andy Green as a philosopher he is true to the meaning of the word – a lover of wisdom. Earlier this curiosity led him to pursue philosophy at university where he completed a degree. However, he found academic philosophy severely limiting as he was after an experiential understanding of living. He was to explore further into the realms of healing, meditation, natural medicine, and mental health, and to experience the oneness of Being. He continues to teach meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong currently in Yanchep, and has now published his first book – Being: experiencing a numinous reality, which will be launched at the Conscious Living Festival 2021.
